Ahmad’s expertise spans a diverse range of disciplines including jazz coordination, Latin drum grooves, Brazilian beats, flamenco ensemble, and contemporary jazz. Driven by a relentless passion for pushing the boundaries of percussion live performances, Ahmad is a true master of his craft. His research focuses on the intricate mechanics of polyrhythms, aiming to uncover their secrets and eliminate clashes between beats, allowing for all ears to precisely hear the instrument as clearly and immaculately as possible.
Ahmad has notably worked with an exceptional group of Latin jazz musicians, creating innovative harmonies that bridge the gap between Latin and oriental rhythms. In 2021, he achieved a groundbreaking milestone by introducing a novel method that seamlessly blends oriental and Latin rhythms. This breakthrough technique resulted in remarkable recordings where popular Arabic and Latin rhythms melodiously intertwine without any clashes.
